This song is for you. I think about you whenever I listen to it, especially when you were alive and battling with your illness. I never got to share it with you.

This song is many things to me - the musical equivalent of smiling through tears, a tender acceptance that this fleeting and ephemeral human existence can hold so much laughter, love and joy simultaneously. You dancing in heaven, maybe with a pipe hanging loosely between your lips. The smoke swirling upwards into space, free and light.

How is it like, to be unburdened by the bag of bones, and reunited on the other shore with everyone who’s ever loved you since time immemorial.
